Jesper Borup is a Danish talented self-taught artist born in 1973, his studio, WesterbyArt, is located in Copenhagen. He developed his passion for drawing since he was very young and worked within several artistic styles until he developed his own abstract expressionism. He creates art that is different, using a mix of materials such as coal, acrylics, ink, pastels, pen and pencil.
His work tells stories about life, including writing within his paintings. He wants to show how it is ok to be different, we don’t have to be like anyone else, we should be unique in our own shape and form. We don’t always need to fit in, we must be ourselves and perfect that so we can be free.
